The curriculum will meet the needs of local pastors and preachers offering encouragement, instruction on practical and biblical topics and tips and guidance. Many resources may be printed for dissemination

• Latin America & Caribbean — world’s highest femicide rates; ~4,000+ year

• Sub-Saharan Africa — highest intimate partner violence

  • High occurrences of rape prior to age 18 becoming more of a rite of passage in Sub-Sahara African culture

• South Asia / MENA — high domestic, honor-based, family-controlled violence

Applied Biblical Theology for Everyone

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

2 Timothy 2:15

Impact

• High disengagement + low biblical worldview = risk of theological drift and inconsistent life/practice

• Laypeople may lack both foundation (knowledge) and practice (reading/doing) required for confident faith sharing and spiritual maturity.

Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. James 1:23-24

This track will bring healing with bible-based education that brings awareness of their identity in Christ and self-care practices they can apply at their own pace (opportunities for support groups and counseling).

Impact

• Survivors: PTSD, depression, anxiety, suicide risk

• Children: impaired development; 2–3x higher risk of future violence cycles
